How to register for TCF

1. Select Test

• First select the Test de connaissance du français (TCF) test you want to take and filter according to that. If you want to only register for the optional examinations, you must have already taken the compulsory examinations. If you would like to take the complete test, choose TCF Tout Public - CO, SL, CE, EE, EO.
• Go to the official TCF registration page and select the test you want to take. All TCF tests are on computer.

2. Select Test Location

• Select the exam location where you would like to take your TCF exam.
• Swiss Exams provides TCF tests in various locations accross Switzerland. These are the main locations: Winterthur, Berne, Lausanne and Geneva.

3. Select Date

• If you have chosen the location of your test, you can now select an test date.

Confirmation email from our Customer Service

• Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from us. When you register for your TCF French test, we profile on Swiss Exams Access – Candidate Access is automatically created. Here you can see your test details, location, time etc.
• Approximately 10 working days before the test you will also receive your official test invitation by e-mail.
